Happy Birthday Hazel!
An aside: We are all lucky as TV recently said the average a person in USA dies from all causes (including car wrecks) is 77 yrs. old. So we all need to appreciate this extra time.
Many happy returns!
Hello Vilia! A very happy birthday to you soon. Nancy
Terrie was a good friend and very nice person. Sorry to see her go. Nancy Ash, Frisco, TX
Janet and I were good friends in most of high school, and so sorry to hear of her passing. Prayers go out to her family. Nancy (Crews) Ash
My husband passed away lhere in TX last year, and recently reconnected with someone in Kannapolis, NC, (who's now recovering from operation), but am moving back there in a few weeks. Was wondering if you were still in Carolina Beach. Our next trip will be to the NC coast. Hope to see you again!!! ...and Happy Birthday!
Danny: I was just starting to email you what I found and it looks like the TX connection and Whicker connection are both correct. Also I got the picture of her husband Steven Lee Whicker graduating from RJR in 1963.
I just found 3 documents that Ancestry.com has on Barry Frye and saved them to .PDF files and will email them to you, Danny. I have been doing Genealogy since 2001 when my mom passed away. I don't always have a paid subscription but do currently so it was easy to find his info: Death Index, Social Security Application, & Gravesite.
If anyone needs Genealogy done on family members let me know at nancy@ashbunch.com
Good to see you! Do you reember my living down the street (Elbert) from you as a kid?
Linda grew up on Walker Ave., the street behind my Hawthorne Rd., and we used to call each other and "meet halfway to walk to the little store" at bottom of hill. Later to Miller Park, and later to drive to Myrtle Beach with my parents. She was such a sweet person. I talked to her on phone again about 5 years ago, saying at first, "I'll met you halfway..."! I wish I had been closer so I could have seen her more often. She passed away too early.
I remember going to Brownie Scouts and Girl Scouts with her as she lived around the corner from me in Ardmore. She was a very nice and special person.
Sorry to hear about Sandra. The long version by Kelly Gregory is the most innovative and complete obituary I've seen. I just copied and sent it out to friends and relatives as a sample!
