I think the following is referring to our classmate, Michael Lewis Harrington, however, I am not positive. I could not find the actual obituary but the dates and name seems accurate. If anyone know more about this, please let me know.
Michael Louis Harrington, 63, died Thursday, October 4, 2007 in Portland, Ore. (Coleman, 662-234-3900).
What a sad thing to learn that Michael is gone. He was one of my very best friends at RJR, my partner-in-crime at Highland Presbyterian Church, and among the brightest folks I have ever known.
I learned about Mike's death when he passed away, when I was reading the online newsletter of Highland Presbyterian Church. In high school, we used to have a lot of discussions about religion, and it's interesting that he became a professor of religion at Ole Miss. Those of us who knew him knew that he always picked a viewpoint that would generate a lot of discussion. I'm not sure anyone knew what he really believed. Here are some links reporting his death:
