After reading his obituary, I am happy to say that Henry lived a fruitful and rewarding life, achieving the "best" in all of his lifetime endeavors... I confess that I cannot remember Henry that well but read his saying under his senior picture and felt all was accomplished, good job, Henry. My condolences go out to his loving family and friends. We both were born on the same day , were Leo's , and  were celebrating on the same day for 78 years! That is a nice bond to have... Pam Bain Davis

I remember Charlie Sappington well. At Old Town, he was a favorite of his homeroom teacher (6th grade?), who would send him to the lunchroom for coffee in the afternoon.  Charlie didn't like the teacher nor running this errand, so he started mixing a little red dirt into the coffee.  After several days the teacher said, 'This coffee is awful.  Tastes like dirt!' and Charlie was relieved of his errands.

Charlie was a techie before it became hi-tech.  I always had great admiration for his intellect.

RIP, Charlie.

Like you, Don, I remember Charlie from our "Old Town" days. We were not close but had classes together and I always liked him. Sounds like he had a full and happy life which I was so glad to hear.. it was nice to enter RJR with old friends and classmates from OT. We all had a unique connection. Prayers for Charlie's family
