Sandra was my roommate at UNCG my freshman year. I was saddened to learn that she has passed so young (59) and wanted to make sure her space on the Classmate Profiles was not left blank.
She was a true southern lady of refinement and gentile manners. She was generous, kind and thoughtful in everything she did. I regret that we lost contact over the years because I would have reminesed with her about the agony of those long nights studying and laughed about the antics of our double dates! Thanks, my friend, for the memories.
I found her obituary: Feb 1, 1945 - Dec 12, 2004, lived in Newport, NC, died at Myrtle Beach, SC. She was a teacher in Forsyth county for 11 years and was in the textbook industry over 20 years. She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Paul D. Ivey
