I recently noticed that Barry Frye passed away many years ago and there was very little information about his life or his death. I went online as did our classmate Nancy Crews (Ash) and we learned a few more details, including that Barry was born in 1943 and died May 11th, 1988 in Winston Salem. At Reynolds, he played on the Children's Home football, basketball and track teams. Also, he was a member of the Children's Home Monogram Club and served as secretary and vice presient of the Methodist Youth Foundation.. After graduation, he served in the US Air Force in Viet Nam/ He died in 19887 and is buried at Carolina Memorial Park in Concord, NC. I just found 3 documents that Ancestry.com has on Barry Frye and saved them to .PDF files and will email them to you, Danny. I have been doing Genealogy since 2001 when my mom passed away. I don't always have a paid subscription but do currently so it was easy to find his info: Death Index, Social Security Application, & Gravesite.
